CODAN was summoned to be in the involvement of bringing Silo 4 back to life at the GE Research and Development facility. This silo is used to store coal for GE when they are testing any one of there furnace test facilities on site. It also uses a number of electronics to run. Everything from level sensors, to rotary valves, thermocouples, slide gates, etc. There are a plethora of controls to ensure stability, consistency, and safety while performing its duties. Responsibilities included installation of conduit, junction boxes, wiring of all controls, lighting, and circuitry, among other things like trouble shooting. CODAN's knowledge of this specialized field makes performing these tasks of installation  second nature. All work was design build by CODAN with help of our good friend, who also happens to be the on site electrician
